Requirements

Education

• The candidate should have a Graduate degree in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering

Experience

• At least 8 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  Manufacturing (FMCG), Packaging Industry

Additional Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a managerial position in the production sector will be given preference
• Required skills: Communication, Analytical ability, Problem-solving, and Reporting. Leadership skills, motivation, and management skills for production operations. Intermediate computer software using capabilities (MS Office, Internet, Email, etc.), Capable of online production planning. Solution-driven, smart, approachable, and possesses the ability to work with people from different backgrounds
• Required knowledge: About various Raw Materials, Planning, Production process, Policy formulation, and People management. About the Quality of the product and waste control
• Required competencies: Self-Awareness, Dealing with Ambiguity, Relationship Building, Future Oriented, Courage, Prioritizing, and Developing Others. Strategic planning, independent decision making, and thinking out of the box

Responsibilities & Context

• To formulate an effective production plan and ensure the highest productivity through the strict implementation of QC principles, effective supervision, routine inspection, and proper accountability
• To monitor and ensure the manufacturing process as per planning, guidelines & Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to ensure in-time production
• To ensure direct supervision of daily production activities through close monitoring and coordination with the operators & production supervisors
• To submit raw materials demand as per analysis of work order (previous & forecast). Plan for raw material and finished goods inventory
• Oversee the production process to ensure adherence to quality standards and compliance with safety regulations
• To provide support for cylinder development purposes
• To solve any immediate problems that occur during the production process
• To schedule machines & manpower and coordinate with the teams to ensure quality improvements, minimize wastage, and time
• To ensure that the daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly production achievement is commensurate with the production target for any given period
• To coordinate with the Sales Department to facilitate production and operations based on the market demand
• To participate with the top management in setting a production strategy that complies with the market trend
• Ensure the implementation of maintenance in a way that covers minimum disruption of operations
• To ensure that the motivation, training, development, and evaluation programs of the production workers are implemented to a high standard
• Utilize proper manpower to ensure maximum production output
• To ensure customer service as well as build up interpersonal communication to reduce complaints
• Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
• Practice, promote, and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
• Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, and encourage others to do so
• Perform any other duties as and when assigned by the respective authority
